The Defense Sector covers four business areas: missile defense, space systems, tactical systems, and network-centric warfare.
Our missile defense expertise spans 30 years of providing key technical leadership in the design, development, fielding, and sustainment of an effective and integrated Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). Our analysts and engineers are on the leading edge of the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) reengineering efforts to transform the agency from research and development to deployment and operation.
The space systems business area is founded on the skills of our subject matter experts in space systems architecture, astrodynamics modeling, joint space operations, space environment, and space situational awareness. Our support to a wide array of DoD national security space community customers provides a joint perspective in areas such as concept definition, studies and analyses, policy and doctrine, space and mission operations, exercise support, and program acquisition.
Our tactical systems business area provides expertise in systems engineering, logistics, modeling and simulation, and live and virtual training, testing, and evaluation in support of US tactical weapons programs. In particular, we provide the unique logistics skills to support the various classes of unmanned autonomous systems.
Network-centric warfare combines experience in cutting-edge information technologies combined with detailed knowledge of military systems and operations to provide innovative solutions to the challenging problems on and off the battlefield. Our personnel assist key DoD agencies and the military in transforming the next generation of military systems to operation in a robust, globally interconnected network environment consisting of infrastructure, people, processes, systems, and services.
