National Security Systems Sector

Our National Security Systems Sector consists of an experienced cadre of engineering and technical domain experts providing the US Intelligence and Homeland Security communities with innovative solutions for intelligence production, information assurance, and computer network operations.

The National Security Systems (NSS) Sector combines exceptional expertise in computer science and physics with experience in analysis and mission operations, which allows us to develop unique solutions to meet national intelligence requirements. Our core lines of business include intelligence production, information assurance, and computer network operations. In addition, the NSS Sector has developed and deployed an unexploded ordnance and improvised explosive device (IED) neutralization system named ZEUS.

Intelligence Production

We develop hardware and software tools and provide analytical expertise to enable our customers to collect, process, analyze, fuse, assess and disseminate intelligence from multiples sources. Coupled with the technical ability to support Intelligence production, the NSS provides wargaming support throughout the Intelligence Community to analyze complex challenges faced by our government’s most senior policymakers.

Information assurance

We apply our deep understanding of information system security engineering to develop defensive tools to deploy, operate, and defend our customers’ information systems. We are at our customer’s side as the solutions are architected to ensure that Information Assurance is an essential element of every part of the design. Our certification and accreditation experience is essential in achieving operational status for our clientele.

Computer Network Operations

The NSS calls on our deep technical understanding of the network environment supports the defense, attack, and exploitation missions of our customers. We apply analytical expertise from multiple sources to provide response, correlation, and defense postures for our customers.

IED Neutralization

We have developed a precision standoff system, ZEUS, which provides neutralization of surface mines, unexploded ordnance, and IEDs. The system consists of a two kilowatt-class laser, beam director, operator’s station, and support subsystems integrated into a high-mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle. The system has demonstrated capability against over 30 types of ordnance.
